How do we solve the cold-start problem?

Depends on your market. Concierge onboarding one side, geographic concentration, or a managed-supply approach can all work. We address cold-start in the product strategy, not leave it to marketing.

Can we use an existing marketplace platform?

Sometimes — Sharetribe, Arcadier, or similar can get you to validation faster. We’ll recommend a boxed platform when it fits and a custom build when it doesn’t. Custom is right when trust, pricing, or workflow is a differentiator.

How long to launch a marketplace?

4–8 months for most custom marketplaces. Simpler vertical marketplaces can launch in 3; heavily regulated ones (finance, healthcare) take longer.
