Our team was responsible for the full development cycle of the WhatsitAI mobile application, using the Flutter framework to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
During the development of WhatsitAI, we applied a cross-platform approach that allowed us to simultaneously create the application for Android and iOS using a single Flutter codebase. Consequently, this approach significantly optimized development time and ensured functional consistency between platforms. In addition, we paid special attention to AI service integration, implementing complex machine learning and computer vision algorithms for accurate item identification. Furthermore, the team focused on performance optimization to ensure fast image processing and instant result delivery — a factor critically important for user experience.
When developing the application architecture, we chose a modular approach that ensures ease of maintenance and future scalability. Moreover, integration with cloud services became the foundation for implementing the server-side that processes AI requests and ensures high-speed recognition. Additionally, we implemented a multi-tier monetization system with various subscription and in-app purchase options, providing both user flexibility and stable business revenue.
The WhatsitAI project demonstrates the ability of our team to create innovative, technologically complex mobile solutions that have a real impact on users’ lives and create new market opportunities. Using Flutter allowed us to ensure high product quality with optimal time and resource expenditure on development.

Thrifting Game Changer!
I can’t say enough good things about this app! It’s been my secret weapon for turning my love of thrifting into a side hustle. As an avid thrift store shopper, yard sale attendee, and estate sale seeker, I’m always on the hunt for the cutest clothes, trinkets, and collectibles. With a snap of a photo, I know exactly what I’m looking at and it’s value. It has helped me identify and snag name brand clothing, decor for my home, jewelry, books, and more. For anyone who loves finding unique items, scoring luxury pieces, or just wants a reliable way to identify and calculate some things worth, this app is a game changer.

Found things nothing else has
I really hate the points system, as I could use 200 in a day and I’m priced out of the app
Developer Response,
We hated the points system too, which is why our upcoming release is now UNLIMITED searches for subscribers (and 5 free ones per week for non-subscribers). Thanks for the 5 stars, hope this new feature helps!
