Cloud Migration is more than “lift and shift”. A migration worth doing improves cost, reliability, and delivery speed. One done without a plan frequently increases all three. We plan and execute migrations that hit the actual business goal behind the move — without downtime, without surprise bills, and without losing what already works.

What Cloud Migration Covers

Assessment & Migration Plan

We inventory every application, dependency, and dataset. Each workload gets a recommended migration pattern — rehost, replatform, refactor, or retire — with cost estimates and risk ratings, so trade-offs are discussed with numbers instead of opinions.

Target Architecture

Right-sized target on AWS, GCP, or Azure — using managed services where they pay off, avoiding them where they do not. Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / Pulumi / CDK) from day one so your environment is reproducible, reviewable, and auditable.

Zero-Downtime Cutover

Parallel environments, dual-writes, controlled cut-over windows, and rollback plans so production keeps running through the migration. No heroic weekends, no silent data loss, no ‘does anyone have the on-call phone’.

Post-Migration Optimisation

Cost tuning, autoscaling, observability, and automation after landing — so the cloud bill trends down month over month instead of drifting up. The work does not stop at cutover; that is when it actually starts paying off.

How We Work

01
Assess
Inventory, dependencies, cost baseline, risk map. Every workload gets a fact-based rating: what it costs today, what it will cost in the cloud, and what breaks if it goes wrong. No guesses, no ‘we’ll find out during migration’.
02
Plan
A per-workload migration pattern with a sequenced timeline and budget. CFO-ready, so the conversation is about ROI and risk — not about whether the migration is feasible.
03
Prepare
Target environment built with infrastructure-as-code, observability wired in, secrets rotated, cut-over runbooks written, and dress rehearsals run against clones of production. Cutover day is boring, not dramatic.
04
Migrate
Workload by workload, with rollback safety nets at every step. Feature flags, dual-writes, and controlled traffic shifting mean production stays up, users never notice, and we can un-do any step within minutes.
05
Optimise
Post-landing cost tuning, right-sizing based on real traffic, autoscaling policies, and process automation. Your bill trends down, not up, as the team learns the platform.

Key Deliverables

Current-State Inventory & Assessment

A ranked, honest report of what you run, what it costs, what depends on what, and which workloads are worth migrating — versus which should be retired or replaced before they waste migration budget.

Migration Plan

Timeline, cost, risk, and migration pattern per workload. Defensible in front of the CFO, executable by your engineering team, with rollback strategies documented up front — not invented under pressure.

Target Cloud Infrastructure

Fully-provisioned target environment: IaC, CI/CD, observability, secrets management, and network topology. Your team can read it, extend it, and roll it back — without relying on a consultant’s laptop.

Executed Migration & Optimisation Review

Workloads moved with zero scheduled downtime, post-migration cost and performance review, and an ongoing optimisation playbook — so the savings compound instead of eroding in month three.

Business Benefits

Lower Total Infra Cost

Right-sizing, autoscaling, spot/reserved instance strategy, and ruthless shutdown of idle resources compound into a sustained 25-40% cost reduction — not a one-time win that erodes by quarter two.

Higher Reliability

Multi-AZ deployments, managed failover, and modern observability quietly move uptime from two nines to four. On-call engineers sleep better; customer-facing SLAs tighten without heroics.

Faster Feature Delivery

CI/CD pipelines, ephemeral preview environments, and infrastructure-as-code mean developers ship to production in minutes instead of waiting on a quarterly release train. Lead time drops measurably.

Elastic Scalability

Traffic spikes become an autoscaling event, not an emergency page. Expansion into new regions or customer segments happens without procuring hardware or re-architecting during a sales cycle.

Stronger Security & Compliance

Current TLS, managed KMS, audit logs, network segmentation, and a compliance posture aligned with AWS/GCP/Azure best practices. Enterprise procurement and security reviews pass without retrofits.

No ‘Surprise Bill’ Risk

Budget alerts, tagging discipline, cost dashboards, and optimisation routines baked in so finance never discovers a $40K surprise in the monthly invoice. Cloud spend becomes predictable and owned.

Our Extremely Honest FAQ

Is cloud actually cheaper?

Not by default. Cloud is cheaper when you use it well — right-sized, autoscaled, managed services where they help, ruthlessly decommissioned when workloads go idle. We’ll show you the actual numbers for your workloads in the assessment phase. If the math says stay on-prem, we’ll say so.

Which cloud provider should we pick — AWS, GCP, or Azure?

Depends on your stack, compliance needs, existing tooling, and customer expectations. All three are capable for almost every workload. We’ll recommend based on your constraints (data residency, existing contracts, team skills, regulatory alignment) — not a preferred-partner vendor we happen to have a kickback with.

Can you migrate us without downtime?

For almost every workload, yes. Feature flags, dual-writes, parallel environments, and blue-green cut-over patterns let production keep running during the migration. Some edge cases — tightly-coupled legacy systems, certain database engines — need a short maintenance window, but we tell you that in the assessment, not the day before cutover.

What happens after the migration is done?

That’s when the savings actually accrue. Post-migration we run a cost and performance review, set up budget alerts, standardise IaC modules, and either hand over to your in-house team or stay on as a retained partner to keep optimising. Migration projects fail most often in month three, not month three-of-the-migration — we stay accountable past the go-live.
